Who Is This Camp For?
Musicians
Begginer Violinists
Musicians:
Full Day 9am-4pm
We welcome children who play any musical instrument.
Students should have some prior musical experience (on any instrument)
Begginer Violinists:
Full Day 9am-4pm
No previous experience is needed to start your violin journey! Children who have never played the violin can join and begin their first notes during the camp
Instrument requirements:
Please note that students must bring their own violin.
While the academy does not provide instruments, rentals are widely available in Calgary, and we are happy to provide recommendations

My daughter recently completed one week of summer violin camp with Nirvana Academy of Violin and had an amazing experience. The environment was very welcoming and Ms. Nirvana and her assistants were accommodating and patient throughout the week. The camp activities were engaging and fun for a group of young kids who were learning an instrument that I felt was intimidating to play with. Impressively, by the end of the week, the kids performed a mini-concert. Seeing the kids perform in front of an audience was a wonderful opportunity.
